This book was spectacular! I found myself relating to Jessie (being quite shy) & finding it difficult to navigate friendships!
Lo’s novel tells the story of Annie & Jessie and the obstacles/tensions that threaten to destroy their friendship!
Highly recommend !!

Reading from Malory’s POV while at times heart-breaking showed the reader just how strong/independent she had become! There are some aspects that did bother me, the mean girlfriend cliche and at times the pacing was quite slow! But this was a truly unforgettable contemporary!
