***SPOILERS AHEAD***
My Thoughts:
In the beginning, we are given a prologue in King Gaius’s perspective which really shows us more of his motives and sets up this book perfectly!
It was great to see Amara’s perspective b/c she was a character who was really interesting to read about in previous books! We understand her more as a character, really see how she has underlying plans and motives to change rule kingdom, however its due to the fact of how she has been treated in her kingdom etc.,
Seeing Magnus and Cleo’s relationship develop was also really great to see! From the beginning of the series, it was clear to see there was something developing between them and it was great to see them admit their feelings for each other!
Now to the end!
Not only is Amara’s brother alive, but it is also revealed that King Gaius’s past love was Cleo’s mom? (I’m pretty sure!)
These reveals really have me really anticipating the next book!
However, a small issue I had was Lucia’s chapters. I’m not exactly sure why, but in this book her chapters felt like they lagged for me and sadly her chapters weren’t really my favorite
Overall this was a great continuation to the Falling Kingdoms Series!
As in past books, Morgan really expands on this world and continues to develop her amazing characters.
Can’t wait for book 5! 🙂
If you’ve read Frozen Tides, any additional thoughts? 🙂
