This YA debut was released earlier this year back in April. It centers around Simon Spier, a 16-yr. old high school student who is “not-so-openly gay” and his email pen pal “Blue”, when an email of theirs falls into the wrong hands. Now being black-mailed, Simon tries to figure out who is doing it, while still trying to keep his relationship with “Blue.”
I read this book earlier this year and really loved it! This YA Contemporary had heart and humor. After I finished it, this book left a smile on my face 😀
According to Deadline, Fox 2000 plans to adapt Becky’s book with the producers from The Fault In Our Stars and Divergent. Issac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are attached to work on the screenplay.
